LEADMAN TRI MARQUEE


Congratulations, athletes!

Thanks for being part of the first-ever Leadman Tri Marquee in Tempe. The first annual Leadman Tri Marquee kicked off the southwest triathlon season in style with Leadman 125 and Life Time Tri sprint and international distance events, offering something for everyone from the first-time triathlete to the seasoned pro.

 

RACE FEATURES
Leadman Tri Marquee features chip timing, gender-specific cut Dri-Fit event T-shirt, finisher medals, awards 3 deep overall and age group, fantastic aid stations, pre-ride/runs, race photos and relay options.

 

DISTANCES
Leadman Tri Marquee
The 125-kilometer course begins with a 2.5-kilometer swim in Tempe Town Lake. Next, athletes will embark on a flat and fast 109.5-kilometer urban bike course. Participants will finish with a scenic 13-kilometer trail run through Papago Park.

Life Time Tri Marquee
Sprint | .75-kilometer swim; 20-kilometer bike; 5-kilometer run
International | 1.5-kilometer swim; 40-kilometer bike; 10-kilometer run

Parking at the Race

 

Limited parking is available for athletes at the US Airways parking garage on Saturday. Parking on Sunday in the US Airways building is FREE! Once the garage is full you will need to park on city streets or at other parking logs near Rio Salado and Mill Avenue.

Registration Information

  • This is a USAT sanctioned event.
  • Non-USAT members will be required to pay an additional $12 for a single-event license from USAT. More information about USAT is listed here.
  • Mail-in forms will be available for download on this site soon.

Race Divisions

  • Age groups will be broken down in 5-year increments, based on your age as of December 31 of race year. 
  • Relay teams will consist of two or three members. For 2-person teams, one person must do two of the legs. For 3-person teams, each person does one leg. We have had some creative team names, costumes, etc., so bring it!

Active Military Race Options
Life Time would like to say thank you to all those who serve by offering drastically reduced race entry fees to all Active and Reserve Military!

 

Please register today under the Active Military race option and bring your military ID with you to packet pickup!
